After extensive research and Hope has sourced an excellent, UK manufactured stainless steel braided hose. This hose can be cut with any good quality cable cutters and is coupled with new reusable fittings, also manufactured by Hope. The hose features a Teflon central core, encased in a stainless steel braid, and also has a plastic coating to prevent chafing on frames and forks. It allows no expansion, even in the most extreme situations, transferring all your braking power from the lever to the caliper. It’s also extremely tough as well as being more flexible than their standard black hose. The kit includes fittings for all Hope brakes as well as most other hydraulic brakes with enough hose (5 feet) for either a front or rear brake. There are 6 different kits, broken down for the following applications:
Kit 0 - This is Hope's universal hose kit and will fit most hydraulic disc brakes. It includes:
-- One M6 x 1 mm straight connector
-- Two M8 x 0.75 mm straight connectors
-- Two M6 x 1 mm 90 degree connectors
-- 1.6 meters (5 feet) of stainless hose
Kit 1 - This kit fits Formula B4/4 Racing, Grimeca System 8/12, Hope C2, Shimano XT-M755, Deore M556, and SRAM 9.0. It includes:
-- Two M6 x 1 mm 90 degree connectors and 1.6 meters (5 feet) of stainless hose
Kit 2 - This kit fits Grimeca System 17, Hope Mini, M4, Mono Mini, Mono M4, and Mono 6Ti. It includes:
-- Two M6 x 1 mm 90 degree connectors and 1.6 meters (5 feet) of stainless hose.
Kit 3 - This kit fits Hayes HFX-9 with G2 caliper, Magura Louise, Clara, Marta, and Julie. It includes:
-- One M6 x 1 mm straight connector
-- One M8 x 0.75 mm straight connector
-- 1.6 meters (5 feet) of stainless hose
Kit 4 - This kit fits Magura Rim brakes and Shimano Deore M525. It includes:

Kit 8 - This kit fits Magura Gustav-M, Shimano XTR-M965/966 (XT-756 levers), Saint M800 (XTR-M965 and XT-756 levers), XT-765, and Deore M556. It includes:
