The V2 is the latest addition to the Hope family - With a new large two piston caliper, the V2 has more stopping power than the Mono M6. This brake is specifically catered to the Freeride crowd. The new “Moto” lightweight lever with a split clamp gives a smooth, progressive feel and more power, while providing an easy fitting. The integrated master cylinder reservoir makes it easier to bleed. The lever reach is also adjustable. Stainless hose and floating rotor are standard. The caliper is one cnc’d from a solid billet of aluminium with stiffer caliper bridge and 3D machined pockets. The new revolutionary optional vented floating rotor reduces temperature by over 15%. It is actually two pieces of metal sandwiched together with a small cooling space in the middle, just like a car rotor. The caliper color is a silver caliper with black bore caps allowing access for servicing. The pistons are phenolic to isolate the caliper from the heat generated in the pads. See below table for the specific brakes offered in this auction. 554 grams per side.
