Hope continues to innovate, and we Monk a Moo believe they have outdone themselves with latest X2 Race design. The X2 Race replaces the Mini X2 Pro, and is the biggest development and product in the 2010 line up by Hope. It is a race/high performance XC dedicated brake, and its lightweight and cutting edge technology make it the most desirable brake out there. It has a totally new master cylinder assembly, with refined CNC maching and top of the line race ready spec, and a superlight master cylinder body with aftermarket direct mount shifter clamps available separately for SRAM, XT and XTR. The X2 Race comes with an aluminum blade and resevoir cap, alloy clamp bolts, and alloy backplates on the X2 pads. Titanium bolts are used in Caliper and Mounts. The standard weights are as follows:

267g with the 160mm 3 Bolt Steel Rotor, 284g with 160mm 6 Bolt Floating Rotor, and approximately 330 grams with 6 Bolt Steel Rotor

Optional Stainless Hose can be preinstalled (adds weght)

One Kit Includes: Rotor, standard black hose, lever, caliper, and hardware to outfit a front OR rear. Brakes are also pre-bled and ready to bolt onto your bike. If desired, we will also pre-install stainless hose instead of the standard black hose (choose option below).

Rotor Options: Lightweight 1.8 MM Width 6 Bolt Black Floating Rotors, One Piece Steel 3 Bolt Steel Rotors, One Piece Steel 6 Bolt Rotors, or Black 6 Bolt Floating Rotor

1. Choose Front Brake Kit: Select Rotor Size, # Bolts per Rotor, and Fork Mount (add appropriate quantity next to price).

Note: Brakes are normally made with the front lever on the left hand side of the handlebars and the rear on the right hand side. If you want the levers switched (Front - right and Rear - left), then just follow up the purchase with an email from the sales receipt page.
